Backstreet has come to a bitter end, but five years later, the fragile friendship of two wives still remains. Change has been a wicked foe to both Emma Dorough and Julie Carter, but they're hoping that they have a better chance of surviving if they brave it together. The past is a horrible memory, and the future is painfully uncertain, but they have no choice but to keep putting one foot in front of the other. And so they cling tightly to each other with pens and paper in times of turmoil, praying for a new beginning.
